Message How good the fluid is depends on how long the fluid is run at a given temp.
Running on a track causes fluid temps to reach levels that would never occur on the street.
Making more power makes more heat as well.
People upgrade radiators, add and upgrade engine oil coolers, but few think about transmission and differential heat.
To give you a factory perspective on a car making similar power, we can look at miles vs. temp the factory offers on the Nissan GTR maintenance.

The GTR is 545HP stock and uses synthetic fluids.

The factory says you can go 6000 miles or 6 months on engine, trans, and diff fluids if they are run at normal temperatures.

The factory states engine oil needs to run below 230 degree's, and the trans and diff below 248 degree's.

The factory says if the engine oil is run between 230 degrees and 266 degrees, it requires changing at 3000 miles.

The factory says if the engine oil exceeds 266 degrees, you MUST CHANGE THE OIL IMMEDIATELY AFTER STOPPING.

The factory says if the trans and diff run between 248 degree's and 284 degree's, the fluids must be changed every 3000 miles.

The Factory says if the trand and diff exceed 284 degree's the fluid MUST BE CHANGED IMMEDIATELY AFTER STOPPING.

The Factory also wants you change all fluids before and after any racing on track.

Keep in mind the GTR has a much larger fluid capacity, good coolers, and ducting to trans and diffs.

On a 500HP Z32 that is track driven with no trans or diff coolers, your likely running temps of 260 to 300+ degree's.
The fluid is likely worthless after 1 long session.
Your making heat and have poor or no cooling.
